The views from the rooms are fine, with picturesque scenery that makes it hard to leave. The spaciousness of the bedroom adds to the comfort for families .

Entry was tricky with muddy stairs and no outdoor lighting, definitely not ideal after a long drive. There are only two cramped bathrooms on the second floor, forcing guests to sometimes wait their turn, which isn't convenient, especially with no bathroom on the main floor. The absence of a sink on the main floor for handwashing after shoe removal was awkward. The Wi-Fi signal barely reached the rooms. There was also confusion upon arrival with names missing from the guest board, and a previous request for a special birthday touch went unaddressed.

Nicely decorated hotel, marvellous location, big size and incredible rooms. A lounge and a kitchenette area in the room and the comfy bed. The staff were friendly and helped with free parking. Location just next door to Iceland and a valley. Also, in a very scenic area...

The place was fairly clean, nicely decorated and big size rooms. Large bedroom. Amazingly nice and friendly staff, easy check in. Private parking onsite provided.

Cozy and comfortable atmosphere

The room with a nice view. The room had a refrigerator, coffee/tea makers, and a writing table plus smoke detectors, provided for safety measures.

The guesthouse is in a fine valley, right next to a horse riding farm. The kitchen was excellently equipped. We especially enjoyed the spacious dining area and the lovely garden view.

Wi-Fi signal was weak in our room, making it tricky to connect.

great central spot for exploring and outdoor adventures

Being just a few steps away from beautiful Miklavatn really made my wanderings good, giving me lots of opportunities to soak in the scenery and enjoy the outdoors.

The location was fine, situated near amazing mountains and cozy valleys. I loved the spacious shared kitchen, perfect for self-catering, along with the beautiful scenery right outside the window. It was a lovely experience watching the horses graze in the fields nearby.

Navigating the complicated microwave posed a challenge, particularly when handling hot items. The two shared bathrooms, while clean, sometimes felt cramped when multiple guests were present. Despite these inconveniences, the friendly cleaning staff provided helpful tips for exploring the area.

The self-check-in was super easy, and I loved how clean and spacious my room felt, really made my stay comfortable. I enjoyed chilling on the sun terrace and watching TV in the leisure room during my downtime. Just a heads up, the shared bathrooms are a bit snug, but overall, it was a great experience! 😄
